Live & Dine is about to hit the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica this Sunday, July 30^th. The annual event from Angeleno Magazine will bring great restaurateurs, wines, and cocktails for a unique gastronomical experience.

The event is going to be a celebration of the best food in LA. This year, Italian food lovers will have even more reasons to attend. Besides two local Italian restaurants, you will also find two companies that represent Italian cuisine and food around the world: Fabbri and Eataly.

Italian Bites at Live & Dine LA 2017

Among the several participating restaurants, you should keep an eye for Obicà Mozzarella Bar Pizza e Cucina, known for its Italian cheeses and antipasti . In fact, Obicà has three locations in the LA area: one in Santa Monica, one in Century City, and one in West Hollywood.

You will also find AR Cucina, famous for its fresh pasta, which Chef Akasha Richmond opened last year in Culver City following her inspiring trips to Italy. Just so that you know, we featured both AR Cucina and Obicà West Hollywood among the best Italian restaurant openings of 2016.

Will Obicà bring its parmigiana with buffalo mozzarella to Live & Dine?

Fabbri will be serving vanilla gelato with their signature candied cherry syrup, the famous “Amarena Fabbri” that is now finally taking over the US. Plus, a cocktail called Amarena Amore mio (meaning “my love,” in case you didn’t know), made with prosecco and cherry syrup. This sounds like a great way to cool down from the heat and a new idea for your summer cocktails…

Last but not least, Eataly, the global chain of Italian food mega-markets, will be present to promote their first location on the West Coast, here in Los Angeles. Later this year, their three-story foodie heaven is going to open at the Century City Westfield Mall, full of restaurants, fresh products, and opportunities to learn about Italian cuisine from different producers and chefs. You will get a taste of all of that at the next Live & Dine as well.

To make things even better, several wine and spirits producers and retailers such as San Antonio Winery, Alexander Murray Scotch, Calyx Gin, and Total Wine and More will be present, together with famous bars from all over the city such as Accomplice Bar and Birds & Bees.
